What game should i buy?

Okay so i just got a new computer that is very nice and can play anything on the market right now. Im trying to decide between these games: STALKER clear sky, The Witcher, Guild wars trilogy, Crysis bundle(comes with all the crysis games) or the Sims 3. Any other suggestions would be nice but try to keep the subject on these specific onesWhat game should i buy?
Go with the Sim 3. I've played it and to be honest, it was the best game I've played up to date. You can pretty do anything in this game. Create your dream home, have a family, buy all the toys you ever wanted and so much more! It will keep you entertained for hours. And trust me, I've played Crysis and it's not even that good. Gets boring after an hour. In my opinion, I don't see what's so good about it other than it's nice graphics. I guess that's where the overrated part comes in.
Crysis!What game should i buy?
Stalkers a very nice game, and so is crysis, BUT worldofwarcraft is probebly the best, i know its not on your list but u might wana look it up, its very very very fun

you should get SIMS 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is Guild Wars being sold in India? ?

I live in India i need to buy the trilogy pack... so is it being sold in India???

pls i wanna play this game soo bad?!Is Guild Wars being sold in India? ?
Probably in the capital of India, but India is kinda after... it's not a developed country, alltough you can buy it online, but wait for Guild Wars 2, it will come out in like 1-3 months and its gonne be 25 times better

Quick Guild wars question?

I am buying the trilogy. I am going to play them in order. Just wondering, since there are newer campaigns than prophecies, will that mean prophecies will be empty. If I play prophecies first, will I be alone? Or is there a good amount of people playing prophecies?Quick Guild wars question?
there is still a decent amount of people playing all the campaigns in guild wars, mainly for the fact it is free!

i recently re-played the prophecies campaign a few months back and there was around 50-60 people playing any time i logged in so plenty of groups around and also the hubs (areas to form groups) were always busy with people trading/selling items and also looking for specific teams to do the missions with.

it is one of the great free games and i think it will continue to have a strong community until Guild Wars 2 comes out, then there will probably be a dip as majority of players will migrate to that.Quick Guild wars question?
Many many people still play prophecies campaign still, including me.

GUILD WARS QUESTIONS!!!!!?

I just got the trilogy for summer vacation. Things got off pretty slow, in fact, it's still slow. I'm in Old Ascalon and the missions are kind of boring. Is this when the game is suppose to be fun? because I'm not enjoying myself too much. When do you get more skills? I only have noobish ones from pre. Leave your IGNs if you can, I need some GW friends. haha...and a guild perhaps. All the ones I joined have one person online only--%26gt; Me.GUILD WARS QUESTIONS!!!!!?
Prophecies IS the slowest campaign, but then it's the 'training campaign' so it has to be.It does get better though after Lions Arch.Factions and Nightfall are much quicker and easier to level up.

Back to Ascalon though, you can buy skills in Ascalon, providing you have the skill points to buy them with,be careful what you get though as if you make a mistake with a bad build its frustrating waiting to level up again to get another point.

I've played for over 3 years,i love it.Have a level 20 in every profession, beaten all the campaigns over and over and know each mission like the back of my hand. But right now i'm too busy playing Sims 3 to go on GW's - give it a chance, you just picked the worst campaign to start with.GUILD WARS QUESTIONS!!!!!?
yep what he said ^^GUILD WARS QUESTIONS!!!!!?
Trust me, the game will get better as you level up and can do more stuff. Since you have the trilogy, that means that you have access to all the campaigns. Go ahead and create a 2nd character in Factions or Nightfall. Perhaps a change of scenery will help. Your characters will also level up faster in those campaigns.

Finding a good guild will help you as well. When you see recruiters in town, ask them a few questions about their guilds before joining up. You want one with at least 20-30 active players that's also friendly towards new players.

Here are some sites that may help.

www.guildwarsguru.com - Fan forum with a large user base. Beware though, they have a lot of disgruntled trolls that post there as well. However they also have a forum specifically for helping people find guilds and for guilds to recruit.

http://guildwars.wikia.com - The Wikipedia for Guild Wars. Everything you ever wanted to know about GW but were afraid to ask. Seriously!! EVERYTHING is on this site. Bookmark it and refer to it often.

www.pvxwiki.com - Builds for every occasion. Lots of good ideas here, but I'll warn you that the builds are designed for level 20 characters. It's probable that you won't have many of the skills yet that are in these builds, but you can get ideas here and see what works and what doesn't. Bookmark it and you'll use it later.

Need an expert Guild Wars player's advice.?

I recently started playing and I bought the Trilogy box set. I really don't have much knowledge yet as to what classes do what but I played WoW and loved healing. I was thinking of making a Monk Ritualist so I can heal and use the spirits for added DPS. I want to know if I have a good class combo here and if not if anybody has any suggestions to tweak it they will be much appreciated. Thanks!Need an expert Guild Wars player's advice.?
If you want to be a healer then Monk is definitely the class for you. Monk/Rt is a decent combo, but something in your question sounded wrong. You said you want spirits for extra DPS. As a monk, your job is to heal and/or protect your team, not generate DPS. Healing is a full time job and it will take every skill on your bar. Let the rest of your team worry about killing stuff.

In low level areas or if you're running with heroes and henchies then you can choose to be a smiter monk and add some damage to your bar. In the beginning areas, most any bar will be successful. Experiment and see what role you enjoy the best. However once you reach harder areas and especially in the Elite missions, you will need to be a full time monk.

/Rt is a good choice for the restoration line to enhance your healing.

/Mes is good for energy management.

/War for some defense.

Go with Rit for now. Once you progress a little ways into the campaign, you'll be able to change your 2nd profession at will. At that point you can experiment with different skills.

  • Question about Guild wars?

I've been thinking about buying GW trilogy and was wondering do people still actively play the game, and how is the guild system and instances and such likeQuestion about Guild wars?
Well, I haven't played GW for a year, but back then the online community for the game was still quite strong. If you went to one of the main hub towns, you could easily find several hundred to a couple thousand people in the same town as you. (During special events, you get 50x the number of people at least.)

Of course, you're only allowed to adventure with up to 8 people at a time in the questable instances, but I found that to be a plus more than a minus. I also never really got into guilds, but each guild is allowed to buy its own "home base" that serves as its own hub only accessible by guild/alliance members.

I definitely recommend the purchase. It was a lot of fun for me, and it's easily worth the $30-40 or whatever to buy the full game, and the no monthly fees are nice.Question about Guild wars?
i know a friend that still plays but i dont

Playing Guild Wars with my brothers?

So my brothers and I all chipped in to get all three GW games and we are all addicted to them. Only problem is that you can't reuse CD keys or be on the same account. I've been searching for all three games at a decent price, to no avail. At Amazon.com there was a Trilogy box, but it was, and still is "currently unavailable". I think this would be the cheapest way to get all three so if you know where to get one of these boxes, or know of a better way to be able to play with my brothers, that would be very helpful. Thanks!Playing Guild Wars with my brothers?
As far as I can tell, all buying/selling of CD keys that's not through NCSoft/ArenaNet is illegal. The problem is that you're only paying for the CD key itself when you buy the game--the client is freely downloadable from the GW website. Your best bet is just to have a friend who doesn't play anymore give you his/her account.

On the other hand, wait for GW 2 :)
