So I read The Magician's Apprentice and at the start it had the standard "These are other books I've written." And it has 'The Magician's Apprentice' followed by the the Black Magician Trilogy, the first of witch is 'The Magicians' Guild'
Now, judging from that, and what is in the book, I'm guessing that The Magician's Apprentice is a prequel. Now the thing is, as a guess, from whats in the book it seems to be a prequel in the same way star wars 1, 2 and 3 are prequels, in that you're supposed to watch 4, 5 and 6 first. It seems to give too much away, not that I've read the sequals, but it just seems that way.
Does anyone know for sure? Have I ruined it for myself? Or am I being paranoid and it's meant to feel like it's giving away the ending?
Thanks in advance. The Black Magician Trilogy - Trudi Canavan reading order?
I m Sorry but,
The Magician's Apprentice is a stand alone prequel telling a story occurring hundreds of years before her bestselling 'The Black Magician Trilogy'. It tells the story of a war between Kyralia and Sachaka through the eyes of Tessia, a young woman and magician from a countryside village.
so it's just like X-Men after whole bunch of X-I, X-II,X-Men Last Stand movies they showed X-Men Origins: Wolverine. so it is just like that only thing is u now know history now come to future by reading The Black Magician Trilogy
