Do these articles I have written from the Dragon Heir Trilogy make sense?

I have to write four articles and make a newspaper for a literature project. I have chosen the book to be the Dragon Heir, by Cinda Williams Chima. It is the third novel in the Warrior Heir installment. Please don't criticize TOO much because I am only in Intermediate School. Some things are not actually true in these stories and were not said about in the book. Here is the first article:



TRACE BACK INTO TIME

The History of the Weir

Beyond the humans, there is a bigger group of human-beings. Magical people who have powers. There are five magical guilds. The five are wizards, enchanters, sorcerers, warriors, and soothsayers. All members of the Weir carry a Weirstone, a magical stone that is the main source of thir power that is behind their heart. If the stone is removed, the bearer will die.

Wizards are the highest ranked because of their power to form magic out of words and charms. Also because of a covenant that was created by the first Wizard which enslaves the others to his will. Enchanters have the gift to charm people and can mess with the mind. Soothsayers are people who can look into the future. Sorcerers mostly focus on materials. They can make magical objects to use, but can not use spells. Warriors are physically strengthened. They are also called Weirlind and are the rarest of all. Wizards use them to fight and see who holds power each year. The wizards have two groups that rein for power. One is the Red Rose and the other the White Rose House.

Many of the people in the guilds are trying to overpower the wizards. Somehow, there must be a loophole to get out of the wizards’ enslavement.

ARTIST OF THE DAY

The Mystery Of Madison Moss

Madison Moss is a senior student attending a high school in Trinity, Ohio. Her hometown is Coalton County, a mining town. She went to Trinity to start a new life with an art career, which she would have to take step by step. You can find many of her art displays such as sketches, paintings, and water colors all around the small town.

What was very strange was that on Saturday, the owner of the hotel she was staying at said that she found her room empty except for a painting. The painting was locked up in the closet with a sheet over it. . Everyone said that it was a picture of the beach, but Seph McCauley disagrees. “When I went to see the picture, iy was something totally different. When I saw it, I was taken back to a horrible memory. After that, I was ill for a very long time. ” He reported. Madison’s room was also torn apart as if someone broke in. All drawers were open and her bed sheets were torn.

We now still do not know of what has happened to Maddie Moss. People in the town have gone out to search for her at once. We hope that she can come back home safely.



THIRD:

The Seven Great Blades: Two Found?

Many people have learned about the Seven Great Blades. The Seven Great Blades are magical swords from deep into the guilds’ histories. Supposedly, Ellen Stephenson and Jack Swift from Trinity, Ohio have two of them. “The boy, Jack, had one’a dose sords u was talkin’ bout. Was named Shadowslaye’. Wheweeee! Them combined was notin I’ve eva seen before! Was like dey were one. Sword shined so bright it’r hurt’in ma eyes.” Said an insider. Apparently, the insider said that he also saw a girl, Ellen, with another one of the Seven Great Blades, Waymaker. Waymaker was wrought by sorcerers in Dragon's Ghyll under the rule of the Dragon Aidan Ladhra with the Shadowslayer. We are not sure of this, but it seems that another great part of history has been discovered.

TRINITY OHIO: SAFE OR DANGEROUS?

GUILD WAR

Anaweir, non-magical people, are going on with their normal lives, not aware of what is really happening. All around them are people from the guilds. And those in Trinity, Ohio don’t know that there is a war surrounding them. The other guilds such as warriors, enchanters, and seers are going against the wizards. This does seem like an unfair battle, but I can insure you that it is. Many people do not know who will win. Trinity is a sanctuary where you can not use dark magic to hurt people. The people in it such as Seph McCauley and Jack Swift are working to not let the wizards, the Red and White Roses, in. While the Roses are making a web so none of the people in Trinity can get out, they are also trying to break into Trinity’s own web. A web is a magical barrier made by wizards to keep people in or out. There are many types of webs that can catch different types of people. We think that the reason they are trying to break in is because the people hold something very powerful, the Dragonheart. It’s powers are unknown, but surely it is very prized for everyone to be fighting for it. Who will win? What will happen next?
