Does anyone Still Play GuildWars?

ive just ordered the guild wars trilogy, just wanted to know if there is any point. seeing as last time i played it, there wasnt many people online. suggestions?

Definitely! People still play it! The people who say that guild wars has died are ones whose friends/guildies have left. Frankly, a majority of the people who play guild wars are not hardcore gamers. The beauty of guild wars is that you can leave for a month and won't really miss out on the fun. I bought the game back in 2005 and played frequently over the course of a year. I occasionally played the game from 2006-2007. When 2008 came around, I was addicted once more.I have lost friends and gotten kicked out of many guilds due to my prolonged absence. However, I keep meeting more and more different types of people whenever I log on after my hiatus. It is a truly fun game and gets extremely addictive. Concerning the amount of players, the population really peaks during Christmas break, march break, and the summer holidays. Those are my favorite times to play. There are three campaigns for you to beat and plenty of newcomers in the same boat as you. Don't listen to the nonsense spouted by the guild wars veterans who say that guild wars has died because an online game cannot "die" in any physical sense of the word, unless all the hard drives containing all the servers and data were destroyed in a fire or flood or something of that nature. ;)Does anyone Still Play GuildWars?
