Guild Wars causes PC to crash after start (Steam)?

Bought Guild Wars Trilogy from Steam, downloaded it. Now I got the following problem:

Every time I start GW I got 10-20 seconds left till PC is crashing, just like its overheating - black screen, power turns off. Re downloaded - and installed it 4 times. Games like Skyrim, Crysis 2 and other current releases are working without any problems, so I dont think that its an hardware issue. Newest GPU driver is also installed (and re downloaded it of course again) - alcompatibilitybility mode and with admin rights nothing works.

My specc:

ASUS G73JW

Intel i7

8 gigs of ram

%26lt;800GB of free HDD

GeForce GTX 460M Cuda (1,5gb)

Windows 7 Pro x64

Anyone got a solution?Guild Wars causes PC to crash after start (Steam)?
Two things I can think of that you could try:

1. Turn on vsync (when you start the game, before logging in, click on Options (bottom right), then the Graphics tab, check "Wait for vertical sync"

2. Run the game with reduced fps... your card may just be too fast:

"C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\gw.exe" -fps xx

(where xx is a numeric value such as 30 that specifies the frame rate limit.)

If none of that works, then I recommend posting your question on the official tech support forum (second link below)Guild Wars causes PC to crash after start (Steam)?

to access it in case you did not know how press the windows key and "r" at the same time and type in "dxdiag" inside the search bar without quotations of course and click the display tap, on the right side there is a box containing info named Drivers the information i need is the date whcih is below "version"
