You don't need to purchase the pvp pack to do pvp, all you need to do (since you already have the trilogy) is get a pve character to Great Temple of Balthazar or make a pvp character. Since you're going to try to get a pve character to the Temple, if you did buy a pvp pack it would be useless to you. It unlocks all the skills on your account but pve characters cannot reap the immediate benefit of this(only a pvp char can use all unlocked skills) For the pve character to be able to use the unlocked skills you need to use Signet of Capture, a skill tome, or get it from a skill trainer.
